My opinion about Kolarov

kolarov is bobbins. hasnt got a clue how to defend. defending is quite important when you are a left sided defender. bobs fault tonight. always pick your best team. the end !

Its rotation mate all the top managers around the world do it, which suggests there maybe a good reason for it.

You could argue Kolarov and Zaba should have played against Newcastle, however for that game Dzeko and Silva were rested, maybe due to the travel and exertions of a play-off game

Kolarov was very poor tonight. But he was far from the only one. He is an easy target.
Fan favourites like Silva, Mario, Hart and Yaya should be asking questions of themselves after that game tonight. They flopped again on the big stage.
But Kolarov is the bluemoon scapegoat du jour. He didn't miss sitters or let a weak shot through his arms though.
Are you fucking sure??

I rate Kolarov and love Zaba as a character and think he's good enough against inferior opposition but not quite good enough for the really big games.

To me the question is this - if tonight had been the European cup final, given current form and fitness, would Kolarov, Zaba, De Jong and Dzeko start ahead of Clichy, Richards, Barry and Aguero?

If not, then why did they play tonight in our biggest game of the season so far? Big mistake from Mancini. He's made very few this season and he is a brilliant manager, but sometimes you've got to hold your hands up.

If he had wanted to rest Richards and Clichy, he should have rested them on Saturday at home against an average Newcastle attack. Not playing those

two pacy full backs against one of the quickest counter attacking forward lines in Europe is baffling. In Mancini we trust, but he got it wrong tonight.

agree completely about the changes to the team, I said we needed to swap the team from tonight with the team that played against Newcastle

The fact is he has done it all season, which suggests he is prioritising the Premier League, a decision I think is correct as we have a better chance of winning.

Saturday follwoed by Tuesday is too much, particularly with another huge game on Sunday

Show me a Premier League manager who's team are involved in Europe that doesn't rotate.
show me a premier league team that consistantly wins in europe

Um, I can't. But not quite sure what your point is? Even Barca and Real rotate. Premier League teams don't have a god given right to win every game in Europe.

i agree with rotation mate but for such an important game you should play your best team. if silva and yaya can play every week then so can cliche and micah. yes i know silva didnt play the full game against newcastle but he hasnt missed much. bobs team selection lost us the game tonight and nothing will change my mind.

Don't you just love when people abuse our players after a defeat!

Seriously grow f*cking up! Go and support the other lot if you're going to be at that sh*t!

People are entitled to their opinion and these a normally more cutting after a defeat.

Having an opinion is fine it shows people care, some have stronger opinion than others and that is a fact of life.

To remove people's right to reply and to suggest they support another team as a consequence makes a mockery of a forum. Think about what you are saying.
Have a think yourself then lad, as he is expressing his 'opinion' about people's reactionary attitudes to a tough game. It's his opinion to do so, so that kind of makes your comment a little ironic don't you think.
If you read it he suggests people should support the other lot rather have an opinion. That's the problem I have with the comment.
