Watch him for their first goal today. He drifts out of position and ends up too close to the CD and then the balls goes put wide to the space he has vacated and instead of closing the player down (Nani?) he jogs over to him allowing the cross to come in.
Very poor defending but world class free kicks.

Could have done better for the first goal with his positioning but how badly did Nigel de Jong shit out of thechallenge for the second goal?!!

He does struggle as a defender and not quite an attacking left midfielder.

He has a heart of gold though as do most of our team.
