My Stroke Journey

Well done mate absolutely fantastic road to recovery and long may it continue. I too had a brain injury 6 years ago diffent to yours although similar symptoms but to my right side of the body.

The sensation you had of the panic attack sensation and numbness vision problems I know how you felt, it’s frightening my hearing also was distorted I couldn’t even string a sentence together. I had multiple lacunar infarctions deep in my brain at first they thought I had MS but further tests ruled that out. I’m still have hemi-sensory numbness now. My smaller vessels are now dead but I crack on. Everything normal one minute then boom life is super delicate you only truly appreciate when an unfortunate event occurs.

I did a thing yesterday!
Following a life threatening brain haemorrhage & haemorrhagic stroke in March 22, after being told I wouldn’t walk again, me and my daughter walked back into the ground together for the first time again yesterday! I collapsed on the night we played palace away March 2022

Hope I’m ok sharing these links.
Proud moment & it made me realise just how far we’ve come!

Fantastic mate. Delighted for you.

Jeez, I saw the title thread and had yer down as one of us FOCs from CBL3! Well done, and hope yer journey continues for a very long time, even longer than it takes the Rags to be gifted another title.
It's crazy isn't it? An old work mate of mine had a stroke last year and sadly didn't make it, he was only 27/28 and very fit and active as well.

The OP's video was really heart warming to see.
