That’s right , never seen snow fall so quickly , thought we’d miss our flight as the coach journey to bergamo took ages. Got to the airport and every flight was cancelled except ours, they took us out to the plane which we couldn’t see and was in the process of being de -iced. Not a good flyer at the best of times so to say I was crapping myself is an understatement

Talking of Nick Leeson he was in the citizens for the West Ham game.

Sat next to him Charlton away 99,won 1-0 Goater.

He was outside the Fernhirst, Blackburn, before the promotion game in 2000. He’s obviously a proper hardcore blue. Wouldn’t be surprised if he comes in Here.

A bit off topic, but famous names and Blackburn spin my mind to Ewood Park..not long after the take over I think..,def Mancini days ,can't remember the match....

In the days leading up to it A Blackburn player was quoted as saying we,ll give Fancy Dan City a rough ride/good kicking at Ewood...

After the match,the usual commotion and chaos of which route do you take etc ( we,d had a good drink in the old social club club across the rd)the crowds of blues around me noticed the Blackburn player who had been spouting off...in the crowd,obviously a non player on the day and walking away from the ground. One lad said theres " David may !!" or whoever it was,then another said it and very quickly an angry rumble of pissedoff Blues were homing in on this petrified player..As the chants and insults got louder and louder..

All of a sudden someone else shouts " there's Liam Gallagher!!!"

And in one instant the no mark Blackburn player was forgotten as
blues ran towards Liam.

I can't remember the Blackburn players name,midfielder blonde hair I think..but he will remember that moment a rock star saved his bacon from angry blues.
