Flights were cheap from stansted to bergamo, quite a few blues made the same tripMilan is a fair trek from Turin. Why stay there?

I was there. Return flight from Bergamo cancelled so had to stay an extra night. Plane diverted from Gatwick to Luton because of snow. Only problem our car was at Gatwick. Managed to find our way back by train, tube and train. Gatwick was like a refugee camp because so many flights were being cancelled. Then had to drive back up north in absolutely horrendous conditions. M40 down to one lane and that one lane was almost undrivable. Think it took us about 10 hoursWent to juventus v city in the europa cup many years ago , we were staying in Milan and he was on our tram , tried striking up a conversation with him but he kept denying who he was, we got off before him i turned round and said see ya Nick , he just smiled and waved back
That’s right , never seen snow fall so quickly , thought we’d miss our flight as the coach journey to bergamo took ages. Got to the airport and every flight was cancelled except ours, they took us out to the plane which we couldn’t see and was in the process of being de -iced. Not a good flyer at the best of times so to say I was crapping myself is an understatementI was there. Return flight from Bergamo cancelled so had to stay an extra night. I was in their main stand for that one. Tried to be respectful but auto-pilot kicked in when our 2nd went in.When City's 2nd goal went in, heads turned to see what reaction was coming from our group - thankfully there was none this time!
They were. We were 2 middle aged blokes with 4 girls under 10 and he had the local accent and scarf to have them realise there was nothing to see here.....I was in their main stand for that one. Tried to be respectful but auto-pilot kicked in when our 2nd went in.
To be fair their fans were as good as gold.
Yep.Haha. Interesting observation. 95-99 seemed to last a lifetime. Maybe because I was 25-29, single, earning well and in my prime as a travelling blue.
My lad was born in 2003. Most disappointing times have been an FA cup final loss and Champions League final lossYep.
I made a similar point on another thread, but my nephew was born in 2003 and started at University last September.
He never saw City at Maine Road and City have won the PL 5 times in his lifetime
He can't boast about attending Mansfield, Macclesfield or York, because he wasn't even born. We haven't even finished outside the Top Four since he started going regularly.
He didn't even get bullied at school for supporting City, because he was in the majority.
Same kit, but a truly different Manchester City.
