Possibly, but surely it must dawn on Sunak at some point that Johnson needs binning completely or he will always be a poison, squatting on the backbench.

Not sure Dorries had much input over Covid that's known of at the moment, but it looks timed for the honours list leak.

Impossible to rid himself of Johnson as he remains more popular with the membership; it’s not even a year since the preferred Truss to Sunak. I imagine the trail of messages on WhatsApp is going to be hugely embarrassing for all involved.

The minute I heard Dorries had quit and she had announced it BEFORE the list was announced made it clear to me that she did it to spite Sunak whom she will blame for her nomination being blocked. Thats how mental and how nasty she is.
