Looking at the map, there is a an argument for saying that Maine Road WAS in Rusholme. However, the official address was Moss Side. Also, I lived on Claremont Road (where the red 'x' on the map is) for my first ten years and I always classed it as Moss Side...and still do!!

Miss the bloke who was on one of the under 14's (I think) turnstiles for the Kippax - he used to hold my 5ft banana & my wooden box to stand on while I crawled under the turnstile to get in for nowt, then pass them through to me at the other side. Miss the atmosphere of the Kippax, the surge of people & the incredible noise...... ah memories
