Anything less than 42-43k is embarrassing in my opinion

The majority of my friends and family who couldn't be arsed with the Europa league last season are going to the Napoli game. I would have thought that would be reflected in our fan base as a whole. Just can't understand why this isn't selling
it confuses me too. i loved the europa league games aswell althogh i could understand why people werent going. but as for our first champions league game. this is what we have been waiting for since the days when we were struggling in division 2. i know people have money isues but the ticket prices arent that steep and these are the biggest games we have been in for a long long time.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

Just looked in some of the blocks on the first tier, taking out rows A and B (which must be empty,) they have sold 20 tickets on 5 rows in a few blocks. That is abysmal.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

been on the ticket site at 1 tday, looks like theres around 2500 empty seats in the family stand.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

It would be embarrasing but fuck it, nobody knows anybodys personal situation. All you can do is think about yourself and I know I will be going and will fucking love it!! Its a shame for other blues who will miss it as its the start of something big, I dont think I could name a blue who would choose to miss this.

ill try to help you get your head around it.
My season ticket was £260.
I live in kent so transport to a game is between £20-£60.
i need to take a day off work for midweek games.
i have three kids.
my wife has been made redundant.

go on try and work it out.

reckon its to do with money mainly. I know loads of lads that would love to go, but just can't afford it. Its easy saying save a fiver here or there, but when youve got a couple of sons and yourself + travel costs it is quite expensive, even at £15.00 junior

:)

They'll be clamouring for quarter final, semi final or final tickets though if we get that far, i can understand blues who live a good distance away not making it but any blue within greater manchester, lancashire or cheshire who gives it a sweve needs to have a good hard look at themselves.

Get over yourself, obviously you are in a different situation but there are people who should be going who aren't. I too find it really hard to get my head around.

i dont think you need to justify yourself mate. i live on the isle of man so i appreciate how we cant go to every single game. i think the problem a lot of blues are having is that surely we have enough fans to fill our stadium for a game of this stature. for the hamburg game it felt like the ground could have been filled 2 times over. so the question is where is everybody now?
