If we dont sell out for this then its piss poor. Fuck off with the list of excuses, kids, mortgage, fuel, car, bills etc. We have been waiting for this for fucking years. I cant really afford the money to go, so i did some extra shifts to afford it. Its £25 for a Champions League ticket. Those who dont go to this, hang your head in shame, there will be no excuses. Its at times like this when the scum take the piss out of "little old city" and justifiably so if we cant sell out. Very poor.
Tell you what; you reimburse me for the air fare, a night's accommodation and the loss of two days wages and I'll gladly travel over. Hell, I'll even pay for my own ticket. I can't say fairer than that. Okay? It shouldn't cost you much more than around £300.

Haha, don't think he meant overseas fans.

Correct Liam, i didnt mean overseas fans. But "overseas" fans will count as a small proportion of normal people who attend. This should be 45k minimum, anything else is embarrassing.

*Edit, just seen the game advertised on Sky with the Champions League music, how anyone wouldnt want to be there and rather be in the pub is a complete mystery.

Seeing as a decent number of people near me:

a) Miss the start to get a pint.
b) Miss the last 5 mins of the first half to get a pint.
c) Miss the start on the second half while finishing a pint.
d) Leave early.

I'll wager that for some, the drink is more important than the game and won't bother.
I wouldn't miss one second of the game to drink the p*ss that is sold at our stadium bars :(

Thanks for the constructive comments. Obviously if you dont have a job then its rather a different scenario. I thought people would have used common sense though but obviously you didnt. My comments were aimed at those who use the same excuses over and over again. This isnt Notts County in the fucking cup, its in Europe's premier competition and people should be falling over themselves to get tickets. Remember the middle of May in the FA cup final, people found money then didnt they!!!

The chart sales for the family stand are pitiful, rest of stadium looks okay with a week to go. If everyone had known they were going to be only £75 for 3 games i think club missed a trick not adding 3 game bundle to season ticket. It is really good value. Lets be having you, it will be cheaper to go to game than get pissed and watch in the pub.
Everyone with over 100 points should now be able to buy an extra 4 tickets to help this sell out.
you want me to buy 4 more in addition to the 3 i have..just checked wallet and that wont be happening are you crazy

Christ! I've not actually been "waiting for this for fucking years", I don't give a shit if we're in the Chanpions Lg or the Conference. Plus I don't care if I turn up to the Napoli game and it was just me on my own, I wouldn't give a shit. It wouldn't be "very poor" if we can't sell out, it just wouldn't be a sell out. But as about 25 people have tried to explain in this thread and many others on the same subject, it almost definately will sell out. So calm the fuck down!

Hi, new member.

I've recently moved to Manchester from Scotland. I purchased a blue membership with match ticket priority, but was unable to purchase tickets online for the Napoli game for some reason. It was giving me a message basically saying I'd purchased too many tickets for the game, when I hadn't even bought one!

I sent an email about it and had no reply, so had to call them today. They weren't very much help on the phone, basically said it was a fault and I could buy a ticket over the phone if I wanted (but including the £2.50 booking fee).

Wondering if anyone had the same problem? Bought my ticket though, looking forward to my first City game! :)

Welcome to Manchester, home of the world's richest football club and worst ticket office in the world! ;)

If there are empty seats then that's a bad thing.

if there are empty family stand seats then you have to question why it's so big and at one end when it doesn't work, which it doesn't.so you give it up as you're wrong.

You do know that the family stand is now only the second Tier, i sit in the second myself. from personal experience, and chat's with the people in the ticket office, its around 80% SC holders in their.

The family stand work's fine enough, we have a decent atmos, and the people i sit near are all great.

Your personal witch hunt on the family stand isnt justifyed this year mate.

And for the rest..... have you really not taken any notice of this board over the years, the seat selection screen cant be used as a reliable guide. They only release certain sections at any time, plus the sections that go to other agencies.
the lower tier is family stand as well mate, me and my 8 year old are in the lower tier and its deffo family stand(and yes we are going to the Naopli game). As for ticket sales online, isnt it the case that you cant buy tickets for the family stand online, only over the phone or in person at ticket office, unless they have changed this for the CL games!

It's not enforced in the same way, you can still get the family stand deal's but its not the family stand anymore.

You can buy tickets in their without having kids. Last season you had to have kids with you to sit in their.

And yeah you cant buy tickets for the family stand online.
