Napoli away tickets on sale Wednesday. (FILL YOUR FORM IN.)

Despite the typical Italian matchday experience (still in the ground at 11pm and then a Magical Mystery Tour around the ring roads and back streets of Rome/Turin/Naples) I'll be enjoying the splendours of Napoli for a 2nd time.
No doubt I'll be referencing this fixture when we're drawn against a German team in the Last 16, and suddenly 5000 people want to go.
 
Anyone staying in and around Rome? I might go and watch the Lazio game on the Thursday if I decide to go.

Just out of interest, has anyone done it on their own or in a group without using the escort.

What was it like? Anything happen?

getting there should be fine, getting away might be tricky. I've booked a hotel 500 yards from the ground. straight in there at the final whistle. because i'm in with the home fans they will let us out straight away :)
 
We're in rome on the tuesday. Early train back to rome Thursday morning for the flight home. Hoping to have a decent Craic with the Chelsea fans who play Roma on the Tuesday. And can't wait for another day in Rome to hopefully see some of the stuff I missed out on last time
 
It was of those trips where everyone was joking about Kevlar underpants and meeting your maker. Truth is it was ok, if you like a city that has you on your toes and traffic lights are ornamental .The escort to and from the ground was probably the most welcome I've come across. Trouble is it took you all round the outer ring road for over an hour and everyone on every bus was gagging for a piss.

Despite one or two 'issues' will be doing it again. I'm tempted to make my own way to the ground ( Campi Flegrei or Mosta ) from the city centre and get the escort back to the Stazione Marittima (port area) due to the Metro closing at 11pm . Factor in being kept in afterwards for half an hour . Looking forward to it, Naples is a great place, but be a bit cute .

How easy is it to get transport straight to the city centre after the match?
