Napoli Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Beaten by a better team.

Oh, some Blue on Talkshite before the game said that we were playing Kolarov because defensively he was a better defender - WOW, what a pile of shite that was!

Statis, static, static. Really frustrating.

Still smarting with disbelief that Bob went for the carthorses at full back instead of the fast ones. WTF? Seriously? Why?! Fuck me, it's not like Liverpool are going to blast us with pace and we need to save them.

Still. Lets win the Europa league and get used to Sunday afternoons at the Etihad... ;o/

Gutted but we deserved nothing... naive isn't the word, we should have been better prepared for their counterattacks but if anything seemed more susceptible to them than in the first leg.

Only Silva really stood out for me, working his arse off to make something happen. Dzeko was appalling - usually when he plays so bad he scores to make us not care but he was just terrible today. Balotelli not really any better despite the tap-in but presented some threat at least. We needed big performances from both forwards and both let us down.

Not our night a few things went against us and we paid the price. Well done Napoli they just about deserved it on the night. We are still in it but the odds are against us now. Hope all the lads are ready for Sunday.

Mancini got the fullback pairing wrong in that one. Clichy and especially Micah were needed badly.

So fuckin disappointed right now. Mancini better just play an EDS side in the Europa, couldn't give a fuck less about that one.

De Jong was the WRONG CHOICE

Mancini takes a bit of blame on this one, Aguero for 10min only? :/

Dzeko and Mario won't work against big teams.

I am not that disappointed, if we go out at least we will have better position in winning the Premier League most importantly (main target anyway), FA cup and possibly the league cup ..
