im sure he will be fine to play,but we have an embarrasment of riches now,so we may save him till napoli,imo milner will play instead of samir

Even before Samir's injury I looked at Wigan as a great time to integrate Tevez/Ballotelli into the lineup. So having him sit in that game doesn't really have too much of a negative effect. As for Napoli, I thoroughly expect the trainers to have a splint prepared for him so he can take the pitch. No doubt.

If he's broken it, he's going to be out for weeks. You can't keep falling on a broken hand or it will never heal. If you break it during a game and decide you want to carry on then fair enough, but sooner or later it has to go in a splint and you have to be careful with it.

The docs can hardly say "there you go Samir, we've taped it up and you can play, but you must not fall over".
