Hope it isn't much of an injury, if he has broke it it can take a few weeks to settle, but it isn't a metatarsal that is broken, that is in the foot, basically at the base of the toes in laymans terms, that would probably be worse than a metacarpal (almost matching bones in hand). Let's hope he is back soon to fitness, we will certainly miss him.

Broke my little finger 5 minutes into a rugby match before, got to the sideline and had the coach telling me that i'd need to come off. Fuck that, just tape it to the next one i said.

If it's a broken finger that is fuck all they just tape it up anyway. If he's broken a bone in his hand that's different and he may need a cast on it. Sure players can play with a cast though ?
