So Thursday is Nasday?
I'm honestly hoping we can get another deep lying midfielder. De Rossi would fit well. With Mancini's starting 11 in the last match he seems to like it something like this:
Micah----Kompany----Lescott-----Clichy
---------------De Jong----------------
Milner---------------------------Silva
---------------Yaya-------------------
-----Balotelli-----------Dzeko---------
Milner and Silva played deeper than Yaya for a lot of the match. Especially towards the end. The idea would be to slot Nasri into the Milner spot. We do not play a 4231 despite what might it look like on the team sheet. We play a diamond midfield. Personally I think Kun is going to flourish. The reason why Mancini wants one more is because these roles are rigid especially in 50-50 possession. You can't slot Gareth Barry in the Yaya or De Jong role and he certainly has shown he isn't equipped at the next level to play in the Milner role that Mancini is renewing and symmetrically placing alongside Silva.

Not a chance Silva will play there. If that was our formation he'd be in "the hole" with Ya Ya deeper.
