Some news coming out of France regarding Samir Nasri's future and L'Equipe claims the Arsenal midfielder has agreed personal terms with Manchester City on a contract worth £185,000 a week.

wasn't this reported a few weeks ago?

This counts for nothing until Arsenal weaken their stance

i like cookie and marwood mate but we have been very unorganised in our pursuits and the strain is showing on bobby a the minute.

Mate please quantify this, whats makes you say we have been 'unorganised' ..... ? If we reported every meeting, every discussion, every piece of scouting, every call etc that Marwood and Cook did you would be blinded. These guys work their backsides off believe you me !
wasnt havent a go at them mate believe me!! i can see how hard they work especially cookie but we already know that there was a bit of a fallout at the end of the season regarding targets and money available and they all went off to abu dhabi to see the boss man who told them to play nicely!!! of course we dont want to get ripped off and i appreciate that but this coming season cannot be described as anything other than huge in our clubs history!! the football world will be watching especially in the champions league and the last think we want is to go out very tamely or get beat every game!! trust me though mate i thank sheik mansour and co from the bottom of my heart for the players they have brought to our club and hope that these players repay them alot better than they did yesterday!!

I know you weren't having a go fella but believe you me these guys are working their backsides off to make things happen for our club. I am sure that come the end of August we will be happy with our lot. I am afriad that we all need to be patient, we are talking deals worth multi million pounds not just for now but a commitment from the club for the next x years of a players contract, its all got to be right.

Bobby wanted the players signed early so as to get time for them to work with the system and to gel with the current players but IMO we don't need Nasri or Sneijder to beat Swansea or Bolton so no need to panic.

Chamberlain having medical at Arsenal according to SSN. Does this affect their stance on Nasri, I wonder? Or is he just going to get stuck in their youth team?

IF its the case that Nasri has agreed personal terms with us then that means they must have agreed a fee with Arsenal. as i believe that we cant even speak to a player unless this has happened.
I think we will see movement on this transfer very soon now as champions league squads have to be submitted soon and although he would miss our first CL game through suspension he would be worthless to us if he is not our list that we submit. I think before the end of the week, and I also believe that this has been going on for weeks maybe even months, but due to the complex nature of getting a player of his stature, ie sponsorship deals being transferred, ( and that on its own is a major hurdle ) as certain companies have interest in him and it has to benefit them, or also conflict of interest from other sponsors etc.

i think that after yesterday it showed we need another bit of creativity to help Silva out, god forbid that he gets injured or loses his magic boots.

I am hoping this leads to them accepting our bid.
