You think Johnson is worth £16-20m? Seriously?

Downing just went for that much and Johnson is generally rated higher despite his shocking form in recent times. English premium seems to add 50% on to the value.

Nasri/Johnson deal for me would be about Johnson + 3-5m.

Arse fans debating taking AJ + £10m for Nasri

If that was an option I'd take it.

That values Nasri at £26m-£30m, fuck that.

Plus AJ might be an ineffectual starter but there is no better impact sub in our squad.

If Henderson was £20m then yes Johnson is worth more than that.

im sorry pal but that deal is no way near fair, johnson isnt rated better than downing, especially after downings good year last season, johnson is worth 10mil tops ... so a deal for nasri would start at johnson and atleast 10m

True, but you can't really set a market value based on the recent insanity of the dippers can you?

They've paid a fortune for some right old shit...

I think valuing him at £12m is a good deal for us if Nasri was £22m originally - don't think we'd get that on the open market myself now (unless Liverpool want him? Only £25m!)

-- Sun Aug 07, 2011 10:42 pm --

Understand where you're coming from, but the key point surely is that Henderson isn't worth anywhere near £20m?

Anyway, don't think we should be looking to sell Johnson, but if it eases the path to Nasri then I say great

nasri to city wenger has said he will sell one not both also wenger always find good young players apparently arsenals spanish scout has recommended jose rodriguez and jose poze two highly rated under 17 players.

No one bottled anything. Kompany made an uncharacteristic error
if you're up 2-0 at halftime and end up losing the game has been bottled.

I wouldn't say we bottled it. We were just shit. We were shit in the first half, aside from the ten minute spell where a goal gave us some confidence.

We were shit in the second half and they just managed to score 3 goals because of it.

Ask England fans who they would rather started for England and see what 90% of them tell you.

Bobby does lie of course but he said AJ isnt going anywhere. Besides aren't we looking to add to the squad, not swap people we use?

I dont think anyone knows whether Arsenal will let us buy Nasri yet. Wenger seems to have lost it according to quite a few journos. He doesn't seem to plan strategically anymore. He may just wake up this morning and say "yep I'm going to sell Nasri today". He's becoming very erratic.
