I reckon it's a done deal but it makes sense to not sign Nasri until Wednesday, that we he's not cup tied for us in CL and only misses the Swansea game.

how does that make it LESS likely for him to be cup tied?

I mean suspended mate. Nasri has a one game European ban to serve, Arsenal play Udinese Tuesday night, so if he's still an Arsenal player Tuesday he serves his ban then, and would be free to play in our first CL game.

1 question, why would Arsenal have any interest in helping a CL opponent ? particularly one they are currently enduring an acrimonious transfer wrangle with !

Would love to know who your source is,if thats true !!!

I do not have "a source" as such (unlike a lot of the supposedly well connected folk on here), I just know a journo and he speaks to other journos and that is what he has been led to believe - basically City do not want to go over £20M and Arsenal do not want to accept less than £30M; whether this is true or not I do not have a clue, it is just what he believes and may explain why the saga is dragging on

Cheers. No it wasn`t a piss take, just a general enquiry as to where your figures came from.

no probs (and I did not take it as a piss take btw)

Nasri will sign for City AFTER the Newcastle game. Arsenal won't want the distractioin of selling players before then.

And after Nasri, just two more to come...

umm maybe not eh ,no distraction thats all they have had all summer

And now they`ve had the biggest distraction, with their best player signing for Barca tomorrow,we might see more movement within the next 24 hours.

Dont be shy with the names of those two ;-)

Ah, that would be telling! ;-))

I remember a few on here a couple of weks ago stating "Aguero and one other"... and I corrected them that there would be four more signings on top of Aguero... the goalkeeper is one of them, Nasri will be another... and a couple of doozies on top of that!

If I knew how to do it I'm sure I'd have come up with a catchy tune by now!

But until then you'll just have to entertain yourself with imaginary Beatles songs...

By the same token,Barca said exactly the same thing about Arsenal and how they "captured" CF in the first place.
What goes around,comes around.

I think he is telling his team mates "and you should see the size of David Silva's testicles, I love him!"

It's like waiting for that girl you've always fancied to get her kit off, but she ends up going out with one of your mates.

F*** off Wenger! Stop playing Sir-esc mind games and failing. Just sell Nasri and be done with it. Then go and put the money in the ISArsenal Bank account.

Nasri looks very happy - think that means good news for us - finally getting sorted out. Expect offer will be accepted later today, not sure Arsenal want the uncertainty dragging on over to their first game of the season.
