Because after this evening, he will have served his suspension if we don't sign him today. Thus making him available for our 1st game in the champs league.

im surprised uefa havent thought of this loop hole, because to me if a player serves a suspension for a team this should cup-tie them as essentially if they serve a suspension they would have played if not suspended

i starting to get a little pessimistic on this one there no word of it now. apart from chelsea apparently sniffing about but i dont think arsene would be as daft as to sell him to them but ahh.....another day
I just bumped into an Arsenal supporting friend in a bar, he's an OK bloke and certainly would have nothing to gain by winding me up. He's convinced that Nasri wont sign before January if at all but is certain that Neymar is on his way to us.
He's a ST holder at The Emirates and is very worried about tonight and the rest of the season saying that 5th is the best they can hope for without some strengthening.
