why do you want to wind up fellow blues?

I dont, thats what they are saying. really hope its not true as we need him.
it most certainly is not, unless you've gotten text messages from them.

I just checked that twitter account and it says it on there. will re look at it and post the link

Surely there's better than Nasri out there?

Not at his age, prem experience and the position he plays, Bert wants him expects the deal done, all these rumours about problems with agents fees is not helpful. I agree though Tuesday looks like deadline day. (IMO)

sorry but we don't desperately need him like some think.

If todays showing was anything to go off then he still believes he is going otherwise his commitment was woeful.

Whu do people think because we have rich owners we should be a charity to greedy agents and players. Nasri hasn't exactly been pushing for the move as far as i can see.

Having seen the top teams we should already have enough to compete

for me the whole thing is utterely wrong - City must have known the agents fee(s) prior to entering any negogiations - As far as i am aware Nasri has said feck all and not even indicated he wants to move to City - as far as we all know he might be quite happy to sit at Le arse for a full 12 months and take his pick of the teams next year.

Wenger stuck two big fat feck off fingers too us today - yes they were light of midfield players - and they will be light of midfield players on Wednesday and equally next weekend so why not let him play next week?

things take time i agree but this is now ridiculas - for me if there is nothing positive by Monday we shuld walk away - we must have a fallback

I'm not sure, didn't Villa do exactly the same thing last year with Milner? We had a very similar situation to this one and he played in their opening game (and scored), signed for us on the Monday and played for us against Liverpool on the Wednesday!

As Nasri is still an Arsenal player, which in fact he did point out to the abusive Arse fans on Twitter, he had an obligation to play.

It'll happen.

I think you're wrong on both counts:

Nasri played like a man 'going through the motions' desperate not to get injured, both of which suggest his mind is 'elsewhere'.

Secondly, we certainly do desperately need him or very similar creative midfielder - an injury to silva (likely at some stage) and/or tiredness will leave us very, very short of creativity.
Surely there's better than Nasri out there?

Better probably. But what would they cost? Would they come to CIty? Will they adjust to PL?

Thats why this is the midfielder we want.

Mata is a better player, and looks like he's off to Chelsea. Far less trouble too, and would slot into the positions that need filling, on the wing of course.

Chelsea get Mata, we get Nasri (or not), just seems like a gem is passing us by. Aguero had not kicked a ball in the PL, and he seemed to have settled in straight away, why not anyone else?

Is Nasri a Real and Barca type player? No. Then why do we want him?
Seems to me like the Milner saga all over again. Nasri is a lot better than Milner but we are chasing a player all summer who isn't an upgrade on what we have.

By looks of things, Ladyman's just guessing.

Neymar is far better and he's 19. There are plenty better who are much younger. If he's messing us around I'd pull out and go for someone else.
