By looks of things, Ladyman's just guessing.

I knew id seen it on there. hope its not true though

Do you know what a Retweet is? He retweeted a story. ffs

Not sure if true or not, but just been talking about the Nasri deal collapsing with a rag mate and he said, 'ah that might explain why Sneijder's been left out of the Inter squad for personal reasons'. Not checked if true or not, just thought i'd share with you fine people. He could have been left out of the squad, but perhaps he's just got the shits or something.

It's just a retweet of what canal+ are saying. Hardly inside info. They're all just quoting the same spurious source.

not one genuine source has piggyback'ed on this. Exact same thing as when the Italian paper said Sneijder was done.

it most certainly is not, unless you've gotten text messages from them.

I just checked that twitter account and it says it on there. will re look at it and post the link

Ian Ladyman
#mcfc still confident of signing nasri. agent fees remain the final hurdle. (courtesy of @MOgdenTelegraph)

This one sounds better :) he's got contacts at our club hasnt he?

We will get him. A transfer is very unlikely to drag on all this time to be stopped by agent fees. That would seem absurd. If the deal doesn't go through then my guesses are that Nasri doesn't want the move.

Tbh I'm happy with what we already have, if we get Nasri it's a bonus, but like I said we don't desperately need Nasri. We will challenge for the title regardless.

Got yeah!! am old, not upto date with all this twitting and tweeting, can just about get on the inter web ha ha

if we want him we will get him. We aren't going to get to the point where we're crossing t's and dotting i's and then get all stingy like Arsene Wenger.

We'll just have Silva play 60 games then.

Canal + are the site who are saying that the deal is dead/off/won't be completed.

Ladyman is just repeating what he is told from both the french press and then from Ogden. Ladyman is thought to know what is going on because he is the nothern football correspondent, that's all ! He's probably watching the footy in the pub like everyone else.

Thing is, similar thing has happened with a lot of City's deals, but I remember reading that City don't pay agents fees. They took a stand with players and told them they employed the agents and so the player had to pay his own agents fees. Quite drastic in how the game works but makes sense to me. City will pay the transfer fee but the player pays his employee in the deal. It sounds as though this is what could have upset the deal and now there is a standoff for a couple of days. Will the agent let the deal fall through in the long term though, I doubt it !
