Told you he'd play tomorrow :p

His squad is pretty thin bare at the moment so i had a feeling he'd keep hold of him for a big game.

So explain why Nasri is any different to Tevez, who more likely than not will be in Citys squad for the Bolton game.
You`re trying to preach double standards !!

Wenger has lost the plot. Nasri doesnt want to be at Arsenal anymore he as made it clear.

The Arsenal fans have made it clear they dont want him in the team because he wont sign a new deal and wants to leave.

Yet Wenger seems to think its a bargaining tactic to drag it out and maybe play him.

Personally I have been saying for a while I want him at city but we have been messed around too on this now.

I say pull out now, go for Mata or an alternative and then sign Nasri on A pre Contract In January on higher wages but no fee for Arsenal. They wont be able to replace him then and will have an unhappy unsettled player in the squad with he fans on his back for the season.

We have an opportunity to force Arsenal out of the top 4 this season and we should take it.

If Nasri becomes a free agent, he'll sign for the rags. Less competition for places & more experience winning trophies. City would be unlikely to get a replacement of the same quality, which will cause a bust up between Mancini & the board, as he wants Nasri & thinks it should be done already. City will be a player short from the squad Mancini believes he needs. A load of contract lawyers execs & staff will have wasted weeks being paid to do a job that has been a complete waste of time.

Other than that it's a fantastic idea.

In that case, why didnt he just stick two fingers up at Arsenal and sign a pre-contract with the rags in january?

If I was Bert I wouldn't pick Tevez to play against Bolton or Spurs, no point damaging a 50m prize asset. It Tevez does play I suspect decision has already been taken internally that this late in the window we would not be able to get a replacement therefore he is going nowhere, therefore able to play. :-)

Mancini always has a face like he's just stood in dogshit when he does these friday press conferences. i guess when your forced to sit in a room and speak to people you have nothing but utter contempt for it can be hard to pretend your calm and collected

In march, he cant talk to man u until march. its clubs from abroad he can talk to from january on. obviously players can make agreements with other teams, but teams abroad have 3 months advantage on teams from England were they can talk to him openly and convince him to come to them.

You guys needs to calm down, he will sign for City. It seems Nasri has become an obsession, you have fantastic squad with or without him. And lets be honest we could need some creativity in the middle tomorrow with both Wilshere and Rosicky injured. unless he gets a serious injury, its actually in citys favour he plays tomorrow as he will get some match fitness

surely if this happens we have no one to blame but ourselves for not getting this done quicker?

all the reports have said it's arsenal that's holding it up, it they want to miss out on getting some money for Nasri then so be it, cant see that happen though.
