I don't recall him "openly" admitting he wanted to play for the rags and i don't see any proof that he "clearly" doesn't want to play for us.

You don't write for the British media do you by chance?
Yep, neither do i. I remember the Media CLAIMING he would prefer the Rags but they never got the soundbite they so desperately wanted.

Is this the same media everyone on here is taking gospel about him wanting to join city? Where are the direct quotes regarding this?

Come on shake that Manchester City negativity out of your bones....

He will be a city PLAYER

How confident are you rick that he won't sign??bearing in mind arsenal have intially fucked us around and the only thing left is the agent?? Mancini stated it's very close and should be sorted asap and I mentioned yesterday morning that wenger had begged to play nasri as he had no midfielders left!!
whaaaaaaat......thats the worst theory ever. Why would he beg another team to play his own player? And he has other midfielders, sure they are younger and not as good. But he could play Lansbury who's U21 England international for example.

Well said and it's nice to have someone who isnt as delusional as most posters on this forum. For the past 2 weeks this has been "nearly complete" but something inst right, something is holding him back. The fact that some people think that "city allowed him to play for arsenal" is hilarious. Who does he play for again.........oh yes, Arsenal.

Fuck me, coffee spewed out everywhere.

No...its our manager confirming that we are in negotiations for the lad and that he thinks its very close to being done.

ffs, stop fucking digging a hole for yourself, especially when your unable to back up a single thing you claim as "fact"

Because people on here take it as "fact" when a newspaper says we have nearly signed Nasri, yet when the same newspaper stated he wants to join united etc it's just bullshit.

Is this the same City manager that's been saying it's nearly done for a week now? What does "nearly done" mean exactly???

Somewhere between all the lies i'm guessing.
He obviously has some inclination to join City doesn't he, what with being involved with transfer talks and everything. I'm not sure where you're coming from, are you suggesting that if Nasri joins he's doing so against his will?

Is this an example of a shotgun transfer?

Having watched the game yesterday I kept a close eye on Nasri.

Wenger said he had a good game.

My observations were that he was OK - certainly seemed not to put himself in any situations were he may get injured. If this was his usual standard of performance then who cares if he stays.

Maybe the Arse fan on this forum is right and he isn't as good as people think.

pmsl...

Still no links to Nasri wanting a rags move then?

Rick by the sounds of it you don't seemed to of grasped how complex these deals can be, it's not easy.

It's not like walking into Burger King and saying "you got any jobs?"............."Yeah you start Monday"

flatter to deceive.......I have been saying as long as I been on this forum. nasri is not great in the middle except for his ball carrying ability. As far as being decisive with his passing goes....there's nothing there. having said that he actually played very well compared to how he plays in the middle

He's no replacement for Gareth Barry that's for sure. Totally different player. He's an attacking player who sprints going forward & jogs going back. Be great for us when we're on top in games & bossing the play but would still need Barry & DeJong behind him if he's to play in big games v the top teams.
