Looks like we'll play Nasri tonight.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/arsenal-boss-wenger-warns-man-city-i-will-play-nasri-udinese-1834231" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/ ... se-1834231</a>

He'll be cup tied for you guys.

Mancini says we shouldn't play him as it would create a big problem.

<a class="postlink" href="http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/947105/man-city's-roberto-mancini:-arsenal's-samir-nasri-must-not-play?cc=3888" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story ... ay?cc=3888</a>

I hope Wenger doesn't play him, because if it makes Mancini pull out, the we lose out on the 25mil and he goes for free at the end of the season, which really sucks. I'd rather we get the silly money and probably spend on another quality player who can sign long term.

Look regardless of what Wenger says or does if Nasri does not want to play he could declare himself unfit or whatever he wont be the first footballer have haver an injury - look at Cesc he has been permanently injured for all of preseason but played for Barca after his transfer - and if Nasri does play he does so because he wants to - this whole transfer is now in Nasri hands and it is Nasri and his agents that are creating this fookin stupid position

There's guys who'd do that, but at the moment, with the squad we have that is depleted by injuries and suspensions, and with him recognizing that he is still an arsenal player, he may not want to blackmail the team. I'm not sure that him playing would indicate that he is not interested in the move. I hope he doesn't play any way so that it doesn't present the 'big problem' that Mancini talks of.[/quote]

His value of 25 Million oe whatever is based upon CL availability - he plays then his move is effectively off because City will not offer the same deal currently agreed and Le Arse will not sell for considerably less - he can sort this shit out by kicking his feckin agents instead he appears to do feck all - as i said this whole mess is being created by Nasri and his agents and i fear we have another Tevez coming fantastic player on the pitch utter cnut off it

he is playhing both sides he move to use and gets a bumper pay day or he stays at Le Arse and get a bumper pay day to maybe a top Euro club -

Then we should pull out and move on to be honest.
i think we`ll defo try and sort it mate but its a huge decision for arsenal! they NEED the champions league revenue and feel nasri playing on wednesday would benefit them getting it.as i said yesterday my info is coming from the arsenal end at mo but i think maybe we should have moved alot quicker than we have.

So r u implying that even if the agents fees are resolved Le Arse will still play Nasri?
theres talk of it mate thats for sure!! if they had gervinho, song and wilshere all available the deal would have been done last week but with the liverpool game and now this one coming arsenal need to get into the group stages!! we give them £22m?? a decent run in the competition nets them maybe £40-45m?? (only a guess there by the way!!) they seem to be weighing up the option of chancing their arm on wednesday and worrying about it after if they get through.maybe we will still want him as we have a lot of good players or maybe the arse will take a lesser fee in january and still be quids up on dealing with us now???!?! talks are on going though but us dallying alittle has opened up a fresh problem possibly??

am hearing that arsenal are looking to call our bluff on nasri!!! its seems the champions league money is more important to them at this stage and worth more them getting in to group stages!! big decisions now to be made by them and us!! in the grand scheme of things maybe we should pay the agent fee but been told city have stuck to their guns and said no!! hopefully will get sorted out though but there is an issue now.:-((
...but you told me he was signing 2 Wednesday's ago!

They are available as the suspension is only for the EPL. Cannot see this being the reason for the hold up, pretty sure it is the fee as Cooke said last year we will no longer be held to ransom over agents fees after we got slated in the press first year with Hughes when our agents fees were 50% or something like that of the total amount for the EPL that year.

So Arsenal could risk losing 23mil by cup-tieing him and could also get knocked out by Udinese and lose champ lge money!? Dont think they are that stupid......

if he boards the plane to italy tomoz its over.
so only 24 hours to wait imo

Then the decision is for Nasri - he plays he aint that arsed about coming too us (something i have been saying for weeks now and go slated for it ) or he pulls a sicky and refuses to play

either way it al in Nasri court - personally i think we should look elewhere prob is we will get ripped off as we will be seen as desperate so maybe paying the agents fees is possible - i dont know anymore to be honest just think we are feckin around on someone whom dont seem arsed
