I want this thing over with now , he either signs or doesn't . If he doesn't I would prefer it to come out now so we can go and outline another attacking and creative outlet to add to the team.

am hearing that arsenal are looking to call our bluff on nasri!!! its seems the champions league money is more important to them at this stage and worth more them getting in to group stages!! big decisions now to be made by them and us!! in the grand scheme of things maybe we should pay the agent fee but been told city have stuck to their guns and said no!! hopefully will get sorted out though but there is an issue now.:-((

Then we should pull out and move on to be honest.

I'll let the board know of your wishes.

Fair enough he's still their player. They play him in the champions league and we are not going to sign him Mancini has made that clear and surely most people on here would agree with this ?

If he wants to come he will just say he feels unwell and refuse to play anyway.

i think we`ll defo try and sort it mate but its a huge decision for arsenal! they NEED the champions league revenue and feel nasri playing on wednesday would benefit them getting it.as i said yesterday my info is coming from the arsenal end at mo but i think maybe we should have moved alot quicker than we have.

So r u implying that even if the agents fees are resolved Le Arse will still play Nasri?

Looks like we'll play Nasri tonight.

He'll be cup tied for you guys.

Mancini says we shouldn't play him as it would create a big problem.

<a class="postlink" href="http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/947105/man-city's-roberto-mancini:-arsenal's-samir-nasri-must-not-play?cc=3888" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story ... ay?cc=3888</a>

I hope Wenger doesn't play him, because if it makes Mancini pull out, the we lose out on the 25mil and he goes for free at the end of the season, which really sucks. I'd rather we get the silly money and probably spend on another quality player who can sign long term.

Look regardless of what Wenger says or does if Nasri does not want to play he could declare himself unfit or whatever he wont be the first footballer have haver an injury - look at Cesc he has been permanently injured for all of preseason but played for Barca after his transfer - and if Nasri does play he does so because he wants to - this whole transfer is now in Nasri hands and it is Nasri and his agents that are creating this fookin stupid position[/quote]

There's guys who'd do that, but at the moment, with the squad we have that is depleted by injuries and suspensions, and with him recognizing that he is still an arsenal player, he may not want to blackmail the team. I'm not sure that him playing would indicate that he is not interested in the move. I hope he doesn't play any way so that it doesn't present the 'big problem' that Mancini talks of.

In that case then fella Nasri needs to pull a sicky and take control of the situation himself,if he plays then IMO it puts into doubt how much he really wants to come to City.

I'd be surprised if Nasri agrees to play in this game tbh.
