Unless he was able to completely refocus, it was always going to be difficult seeing Nasri's weak laissez-faire mentality sitting well with the new regime.

A fresh start, perhaps back at Arsenal and in and amongst the bright lights of London, would probably be best for him.

Im guessing his lack of pace dosent really suit a high pressing game and at the age of 29 its hardly going to improve. Where as the alternatives have pace in aboundance

I would like to see him deployed in a deep-lying playmaker role. His ability to retain possession is amongst the very best and under Pep's management he could really flourish.

He's shown in glimpses his superb ability. He just hasn't put the performances season in and season out. We need hungry players and spaces in the squad. Fitness, hardwork and a decent attitude is the bare minimum any City player should have. Without those things there's no future for any player at City.

Nasri is a great player but sometimes lacks the effort needed to influence games,but when he's in the mood he is as good as most top players.
As some have said he scored some important goals for us ( chavs at home Sunderland at Wembley) and I for one wish him well if indeed he does leave.

No surprises whatsoever. If I could be arsed, I'd search out some of the responses I got when I made this prediction. Fucking fat bottle merchant waster can suck my left testicle.

He's a decent player, and it's such a shame he doesn't have the will to make it work, you only have to look at how lean he was when he first arrived from arse to see how badly he has let himself go.
