Nasri Transfer Listed

What might surprise people is that Nasri was often top of the opta stats for distance covered in a match so to call him lazy is incorrect. Maybe he has the wrong attitude, who knows, but it certainly wasn't laziness on the pitch.

It's a shame if true, as I thought he'd be one of the players who could thrive under Guardiola. Returning to training overweight was unacceptable though, particularly after his comments towards the end of last season about how keen he was to play for Guardiola.

I remember reading somewhere that Pep said he could tell very early on which players in the dressing room are on board with you, and which aren't. Looks like Nasri falls into the latter category.

No surprises whatsoever. If I could be arsed, I'd search out some of the responses I got when I made this prediction. Fucking fat bottle merchant waster can suck my left testicle.

He's a decent player, and it's such a shame he doesn't have the will to make it work, you only have to look at how lean he was when he first arrived from arse to see how badly he has let himself go.

Good riddance, hope he stays.
Confused much ;)

You heard much on Yaya mate? He is obv Nasri best buddy at City so is it safe to assume Yaya has lost some of his bulk and is at an acceptable weight and is also getting on board?

Pretty much this. Although I must admit i'm a little surprised that he hasn't even been given a chance. I suspect it's as much to do with the fact we've suddenly got loads of number 10's and that one of them most certainly had to go. Silva, Nasri, KDB, Zinchenko ... Nasri misses out every time out of those four.

Capable of some sublime moments but has never given us consistency past a couple of months.
This was a huge chance for him to wipe the slate clean and become the player we all know he can be under Pep.
The fact he finds himself in this position (if true) sums up his general attitude for much of his time here. Luckily it seems we've a manager who isn't interested in passengers.
I'll always wonder what could have been with Nasri because he's up there with the best players at the club.

I'll be shocked if he isn't stuck in a cannon and fired towards Italy before the window closes. Can't bare the thought of him lumbering around a premier league game looking like he's playing at the walking football olympics.

Not heard much to be honest mate. I know the club were keen to sell him but that's looking increasingly unlikely now. I presume the fact that he's travelled to Gothernburg suggests he's at an acceptable weight for Guardiola. Not sure how much game time he'll get this season though. I thought it was pretty telling when him and Bony were substituted against Dortmund, having come on as subs themselves. Felt like Guardiola was sending out a message.

I like Nasri and hope he stays; unfortunately, Nasri has never been motivated to play up to his enormous potential.

But one thing's for sure... if he does stay, he will absolutely not be walking around the pitch. Pep has an extremely short leash - you've got basically one chance. Screw it up and you're gone.
