Nasri

I'd sell him. He's excellent at retaining the ball, but I don't see him playing that much and his attitude is poor to say the least.
For his National side yes... his attitude seems to be pissed off at not being selected (I think he stirred up/sided with trouble in the 2010 world cup). But other than that mistake, he really seems to be extremely loyal to City.... and doesn't seem to have caused any problems in our squad that I'm aware of.

I hope that Nasri is here next season under Pep - if he's here - I'd expect that Nasri will his best seasons ever - it's not beyond the pale that Nasri might even win the B'allon D'or under Pep.

Agreed.

I just wonder if Nasri has been told by Pellers/Mancini not to try to take on defenders one-on-one.

In his last year at Arsenal, Nasri was very aggressive going forward, and was at one point the best - or one of the best - players in the world.

At City, Nasri seems almost never to have tried to beat defenders one-on-one... I wonder how great he might have become under different management.

No, no he wasn't.

i think he still has a chance under pep, he can dribble, rarely loses possession, can see a pass and passes well, all things pep loves in a player. might have to up his work rate but not as much as some would suggest.

I never understand why people claim he's got attitude, it seems more the case that people just keep repeating it and then take it for fact when it's not the case at all.

I don't think we have much choice but to keep him, as I can't think of anyone who would buy him off us. He's on huge wages, fancies himself a world beater, has a terrible reputation and generally blows hot and cold, I'm not sure who that really leaves to sell him to. PSG wouldn't want him, neither would the big Spanish sides, the smaller Spanish sides and the Italian sides couldn't afford him and probably wouldn't want him, while I can't see many PL clubs being desperate for him, or him being willing to lower himself to a team like West Ham or Everton. I just don't see what his market would be
