Of course your right, it's the only common sense option, all this will have been sorted out beforehand, my guess is it's just City managing the news

no way wed have let savic leave without confirming the deal

we are very slow at confirming things

Just guesswork but it could be annouced when we conclude the Javi Garcia deal.

Maybe we won't announce it until all paperowrk done. In other words it could be he has passed a medical, agreed terms, signed for city subject to work permit. Work permit people say yes he is exceptional player but we can't issue paperwork till monday, register him as done with FA, we get paperwork monday and announce he has signed.

I cannot see why we didn't complete this deal earlier today.

MN arrived yesterday and has had ample time to undertake the medical.

Whilst I'm 99% sure that Javi G will be confirmed in the next 60 minutes, I am a little concerned about the Serb Nastasic.

HAS THERE BEEN ANY SPECULATION BY THE MEDIA AT ALL AS TO THE REASON FOR THE DELAY IN COMPLETING THIS TRANSFER? ANSWERS APPRECIATED

Yeh, could well be, it could even be one of those transfers that gets announced a few hours after the window is shut.

Has it been mentioned anywhere yet, if the player is in Manchester, or whether all this is being sorted in Italy?

We agreed the fee two days ago, if the deal was off, we'd have heard about it. He'll probably be announced with Garcia, who's undertaking a medical.
