It is too regular a theme that if you're a younger player at a bigger club then you are automatically considered incredible, and this is a stereotype that has to stop. How were we expecting a world class defender - most of the UK had never heard of him last summer when we bought him?

For the money we paid and for his first season in the Prem I think he's been excellent. To be able to command first choice as CM above established players such as Lescott, Kolo speaks volumes about how well the lad has done and I won't have any shitty two bit web site saying otherwise.
