Nastasic

Some gushing praise of him on this thread but please beware you dont overhype him. The kid is good, seriously good, but dont forget he is a kid in his first season in the PL and he may tire and he may drop clangers and like every centre half since time immemorial someone will give him the run around one day.

But for his age the only centre half performances i have seen in a blue shirt from players of a comparable age were by Tommy Caton and Paul Lake

Micah Richards too IMO

If the lad focuses and improves from the players around him he will become the best cb in the world
He is Immense Love him anyone who says lescotts better think again

Beginning of the season, I was sceptical with his inclusion over Lescott, much like Hart over Given. Luckily I'm not in charge of these decisions.

Love his ability to turn out of trouble and retain possesion, which Lescott lacks. Lescott would pass back to Hart who is then forced to utilise the worst aspect of his game, kicking, more often than not, gifting possession to the opponents.

I like the way he always looks for an option rather than treating the football like a hot potato, cool, calm and collected, long may it continue.

Richards at that age was not in the same class.

He was amazingly athletic, but didn't have the same footballing brain and ability to cooly control things.

Reply was for Kun sorry who replied to this.

Can't remember the above as I'm only a whipper snapper.
