The fans of the club players are leaving often tells the story, and by all accounts Bournemouth fans rate him highly and would be sad to see him go for the fee mentioned. In reality, it’s probably fair, but I think that’s always a good sign. Homegrown is a bonus.

Atleast he can play football, which makes him infinitely more suited to our game than most. Quick and strong too. All the assets needed that under the right coach he could be excellent for us.

Bournemouth are that starved of decent players they'd be sad to see a corner flag leave.

Wait wait, we sold Sané for £45m and gonna spend £35m on this guy?
And? Are the the things linked. Sane has gone it’s done we got what we got 45 plus add ons. We need a good centre back back up for Laporte, Ake is that and for £35 mill about right.

Yea, does look like it. But did read that city aren't happy with arsenal, so will they do business with them?

They're still celebrating that victory over us I believe. Apparently they have outclassed and outperformed us. Did you see their dressing room pictures.

Think it's a great bit of business. Good Laporte cover, can do a job at LB (Would still buy someone else if we keep Mendy) and DM. 2 years on his deal, homegrown and the Man City Tax considered, solid business and does everything Zinchenko did and more but better.

Agree with your thoughts there, also gives scope for 3 at the back of Pep fancies another option.

Ive seen him play for Holland against Scotland a couple of years back, he put in a tidy shift and reminds me of Zinchenko, except for being a significantly better/more natural defender and he’s got good pace.

Hopefully this would be a really solid signing that might not get everyone excited but he will prove to be a shrewd and effective one.
