The rumours suggest he’s definitely moving to Manchester. His wife, Teri, was seen looking for houses in Hale and I believe his brother, Purpul, was looking at gyms in the area.

Not sure if to United or City though.

Is Ake going to give Angelino a route back into the team ? Seems people are suggesting we might play games Ake at full back allowing Cencelo more games and allowing him to get forward which suits his game. The opposite of this would be a more defensive right side with the full back Mendy Angelino or another left back to go forward.

So could have a back three of KK Laport Ake with two wingbacks or you could have an attacking wingback on one side or the other.

We wont be able to sell Anglino this summer or at least not for the price we want some ITK where saying Zinchenko is getting a new deal but with Ake surely Angelino Mendy cancelo and Walker suits us better than Mendy Zincheko Cancelo and Walker

Been thinking this since we were seriously linked to Ake, Angelino is top notch going forward and could solve our left sides problem completely if he has some assurance behind him.

As a left back I agree, as a wingback he's brilliant. The effort and the willingness is there, it's just the mental side when he switches off and loses concentration. Take that away by having a back three and he's very useful.

No where near our team despite the fact that when we first bought him he was one of the best youngster around and then he was one of the best youth players here He then played in several leagues on loan at a young age He was linked with PSG before we bought him back and he is now in a top German side getting rave reviews and is worth about 20 million which in this climate is not bad especially in the left back role. there are not many options around generally in that position and not ever player can be a star coating 40 50 or more million

How much did he do wrong here this year ? He barely played when he did he looked decent going forward looks like he has progressed or gained confidence on loan

I think Mendy and Angelino with a quick defense or in wing back is probably one of the best left back options in the league not sure I could name many decent left backs let alone back ups not just decent ones either. It’s a positions everyone struggles to fill due to the work they have to do defensively and attacking along with the tactical knowledge needed and the fact most players are weak are weak on one foot and most are right footed

His attacking ability is good but defensively he is simply appalling and a liability.

Whether he was one of the best youngsters around is totally irrelevant, he did and has not kicked on as expected.

He was brought back to the club to give Mendy time to recuperate and then to sell on to make profit.

I thought the last reports I read were that Leipzig can no longer afford the pre-agreed option fee but they and City are negotiating another loan, this time with an obligation to buy next summer

None of them are good at covering as they are at their proper positions,filling in is what they do,not many are good at it,except dinho but he is a god

Ake is just as capable at LB and could definitely do a job at DM if needed. Besides, Pep and the Club seemingly think he's good enough for it.
