He’s brilliant defensively but on the ball, he slowed us right down and wasn’t the quality needed. Really useful 4th choice centre back but if somebody offers £50m for somebody that far down your pecking order, you have to accept it.

No doubt he’ll be replaced too IMO given we can’t rely on Stones or Laporte to stay fit for a season. Interesting to see who comes in.

I think it’s the complete opposite. He’s slow to react defensively and is good(albeit predictable) in build up play.

Wrong. He’s clearly gone in there and split the dressing room. Bruno Fernandes turned into a flapper and they are a shambles because of the cliques.
