I am not against 4 CBs but to say we have cover if by some chance an injury crisis does occur.Similar happened to us in 19/20 and to Liverpool in 20/21
Having four centre backs is just sensible

Any hints on who could be the replacement? i haven't seen any...
I don’t remember us losing RB and 3CBs at the same time.Happened to City two years ago and Liverpool one years ago? :) Not really a one off :S
How do you know we'll be going with 3 CBs?...Considering how last season went, the number of people on here comfortable with selling him and going with 3 CBs next season is baffling.
Is another 1 being sold? Stones, Dias & Laporte. I was not talking about a tactical change to the line up.How do you know we'll be going with 3 CBs?...
I'm not talking about a tactical switch either...I'm saying how do you know we wouldn't replace Ake with another CB...Is another 1 being sold? Stones, Dias & Laporte. I was not talking about a tactical change to the line up.
Not only about injuries. Seeing how we usually go deep in 4 competitions, only 1 of the CB's can get a rest if we're playing Carabao or FA cup then playing a big PL or CL game 3 days later. Players need rest.I am not against 4 CBs but to say we have cover if by some chance an injury crisis does occur.
Exactly don’t tempt fate, would be typical if we sold Ake and first game of season an injury to one of stones,Dias or Laporte,we can’t eliminate the potential for it too happen, but you can have the added extra of another CB..Considering how last season went, the number of people on here comfortable with selling him and going with 3 CBs next season is baffling.
