National Lottery / Scratchcards

So not many winners then with looks of things, just a few tight arse gits who wouldn't fork out £2.50 for a chance to change your life, you'll die miserable bastards, but will have enough put away to pay for your funeral I suppose :)

Not true. I'm about £10,000 up from never having bought a ticket.

I know we have spoke in the past few years about this, but does anyone still regulary play it,I do,got the same line as when it first started 23 years ago,and also have a few lucky dips each week,as well as a do on thunderball and Euromillions.

Don't bother too much with scratchcards, only now and again I get me and the Mrs one in Asda or somert, but I've won more or less sweet fa in all that time.

Best i've won is about £180 on lotto and about £100 on scratchcards.

Has anyone had any decent wins or know of someone whose hit it big / biggish ?
Four of us have been in a Lotto syndicate since it started back in1994, we've had a few wins around the £200 mark and a number of smaller ones over £50. It costs each of us £2 a week so it's not breaking the bank, it's not even enough for a decent pint.

I have a lucky dip 1 line on all 4 draws each week. I got 5 numbers on the lotto 2 years ago and won £1500. Up until that most I had ever won is £48.
