As it is though I think we may use Torres and Sterling more like we did with Sane Sterling in the 100 point season keeping Bernardo , Foden , KDB in the midfield spots and get back to the more inverted full backs with Ake / Walker.

Maybe. He is also perfect for a back 3 if Pep continues with that & I think Torres could quickly be trained to be very decent at defending, if we wanted to try him at wingback.

This to me, seems like the obvious thing for Pep to go back to, Ake/Walker inverted, Sterling/Ferran out wide.

I could also see a 352/343 with Ake and Walker as the wide CBs, Ake's pace makes this much more feasible than before, Laporte is far too slow to play the wide LCB in a back 3.
