White was more direct, Jesus is fast off the ball but not so much with it as White was.
White made Wayne Biggins look a world beater crossing over for him to tap it in. Imagine Negredo getting on the end of those balls?

Navas has been clocked at 10.8 for 100mtrs (off the ball) which is very quick.

Walcott, who was alleged to be the quickest in the Prem has been clocked at 10.4 which is...very very quick.

By no means calling you a liar, but where did you hear those figures?

I always wonder where these 100m times come from, as I would be very surprised if any professional footballer could run those sorts of times for 100m. I doubt any could go sub 11 without specific 100m training.

No worries, with Navas it's been mentioned by loads of journos, so without seeing a printout it will always be open to question. But allegedly he was tested at Seville pre-season and this is what he clocked. He's never denied it, but like most unverified info. we'll never know for sure.

edit: I suspect this test may have been done via machine as well, so there would be no external weather factors etc.

Navas from a standing start over 100m, White if they both jogged to the half way line together then raced to the goal line, both races on grass with boots on. Navas's acceleration over the first 10m is astonishing.

Yep he did, I remember that. I think the eventual winner was someone from a lower league (not a name I can remember anyhow). Joe Harts supposed to be pretty quick as well.

Curle won our entry into that fastest player race, think the lad from Notts county won it, but that was about 92-93 think White at his quickest 87-90, i might be wrong, anyway why has Rick Holden not had a mention
