I think Navas might be the fastest player I currently know of after tranny and robben.

I remember Granada soccer Saturday did fastest player comps. Kurley wurley pissed our heat.

Yep he did, I remember that. I think the eventual winner was someone from a lower league (not a name I can remember anyhow). Joe Harts supposed to be pretty quick as well.

Spot on. Had a look into this competition, John Williams won overall in 11.49 (fastest time in all heats being 11.40). it was the Rumbelows Sprint Challenge in the early 1990's. They ran it for a couple of years. Keith Curle was our entrant but didn't make the final. Sean Goater also ran for Rotherham (North East Heat) and finished in about 12.38 (this was obviously before he'd been fed).
