NBC want two English games to be played in USA

Why don't they follow a club in their own country? Freaks.
I’m a relatively new football fan and even when I started watching the MLS wasn’t really on TV. Meanwhile I could watch almost every single EPL game (now all). I don’t think people in Europe realize how lucky they are to have world class football and amazing environments outside their door. (And I don’t want that to change - I don’t want regular season games in the US.)

I live in a city with a MLS team, but it’s still a 90 min+ miserable drive from my house to sit in a half empty stadium. I support/attend other local sports, but for football, it’s hard for anything local to compare with City.

The day we're playing games overseas is the day I'm done. Why don't they follow a club in their own country? Freaks.

We have basketball, baseball and NFL games here in England and they are very popular with packed out stadium’s

Okay, now I’m good with a preseaon game at Gillette. I’ll be the random woman in a Dias shirt :)

IMO they do a great job with coverage (I loathe Fox for the WC), so I can only imagine more Americans getting pulled in. They do a lot of “extras” too - Fan Fests, podcasts, etc. I know my dad has found his way to EPL games on weekend mornings by “accident” and stayed because the coverage was compelling.
We only have antenna reception, when we’re in the US, but we’ve managed to watch a few on a Spanish language channel, including Everton-Forest and Fulham-Littlewoods on 21st April.

With the sound turned down.

For CL group stages, we don’t get the channel, so I watch on the Spanish channel with the sound turned down and then listen to the City announcers on the app. It’s great!

If they want live competitive games then have an Fa Cup round be played there. Let the money be shared by all teams in that round equally. Or maybe the winner of each game gets a bonus that for the smaller clubs would be a massive a financial windfall.

If they made it a "socially beneficial" event maybe football fans who couldn't travel would be understanding.

Also it's not part of a season ticket.
If it must then FA semi's and Charity Shield

But I bet thd FA wouldn't want to lose out on the Wembley Income from the FA Cup.

This story comes out every 2 years, people get incredibly angry, the PL confirms it’s not talking to anyone about it, has no plans for it, and doesn’t think it will ever happen, and then people forget it for 2 years.

The drip drip of it the narrative of it will gradually change
