I live in the States and this idea can fuck right off. I don’t want to watch City play here, even if it’s down the street.
We get EVERY PL GAME LIVE, with 1 hour pre-game lead in and, at the end of the day’s games, a 30 minute Goal Zone, with the goals from every game.
The show is hosted by a female Palace fan, who is great (and knowledgeable) and includes 2 of 5 or 6 ex-Premier League players as their in-studio pundits.
There’s a reason NBC pays $2Bn for the coverage, and a reason the PL is trying to keep the American $$$$ rolling in…it’s the biggest moneymaker the PL has!
Everyone is a fucking comedian!
Okay, now I’m good with a preseaon game at Gillette. I’ll be the random woman in a Dias shirt :)So if you come to a game, feel free to park in my driveway. 15 minute walk to the stadium and out the back way to 95 where you don't have to deal with the traffic. So much easier. I do that for all my friends or family who come to a game.
IMO they do a great job with coverage (I loathe Fox for the WC), so I can only imagine more Americans getting pulled in. They do a lot of “extras” too - Fan Fests, podcasts, etc. I know my dad has found his way to EPL games on weekend mornings by “accident” and stayed because the coverage was compelling. We get EVERY PL GAME LIVE, with 1 hour pre-game lead in and, at the end of the day’s games, a 30 minute Goal Zone, with the goals from every game.

Surely there only really two teams most are interested in from that league, I can’t see many following GironaLa Liga are more likely to do it than the Premier League.
Though because of the continued financial rules and teams needing more and more revenues there will be execs at PL clubs, including ours, that would go ahead with it if they could.
Only thing stopping them is the fan backlash.
