boo fucking hoo. How is that Mancinis job? I remember Mancini saying he was injured for the rest of the season but he hopes Lescott will be fit for England as he's a cracking centre half. Yeah, get rid of academy players who are City fans as well as bloody good players... Those types of players never serve a club well.

Just to clear that up - Ned wasn't criticisng Mancini for the Lescott letter thing. He said that players in the 30 were informed by letter a few days before the squad was announced. He knew that SWP, Barry, Hart and AJ had the letter and asked Lescott if he had received one.

I really don't know why he did it. I think even the presenters were surprised and kept trying to lift the atmosphere and get him talking positively.
He might be 100% correct but he still shouldn't have said it IMHO. No successful club puts up with their players washing their dirty laundry in public.

And Lescott didn't know what the letter is about so Ned was the one who told him he isn't going to the world cup.
