Nedum

So the solution to Savic not being in great form and making a few mistakes is dropping him. Great idea.

Drop him for a player so out of touch with Prem football its ridiculous and likely on his way out.

The worse thing we can do is drop Savic, his confidence will be shot to pieces.
We simply have to stick with him. In the 1st half he played well, kept his line and dealt with Defoe etc, unfortunately in the 2nd half a bad header which tbf shouldn't have been allowed to get that far and then after that he looked nervous.

He always looks nervous, indecisive and likely to make an error. He gave away the penalty against Liverpool, his mistake led to the goal which let Tottenham back in it and then he lost possession which almost cost us all three points. It is not unreasonable to drop him for a semi-final, one mistake and it is bye bye Wembley.

This doesn't mean he won't have a career at City, he just isn't ready for the pressure of games like this yet.

Savic would have been better letting it go over him and then turning and playing it to Joe. No need to try and head it and it might even have run through to Joe anyway. He should be able to deal with Carroll but if Bellamy plays and runs at him we have a problem. With Barry, Balo and Silva back we will be a lot stronger than the first leg but can't afford any mistakes until we are four up

I think I would play Zab and put Richards in the middle. We cant risk Savic in that game. We may as well go full throttle on Wednesday as we then have 6 days rest.

Not sure whether I'd drop Savic personally, has looked a bit shaky. Don't really think it's fair the way people are tearing him apart and making it look like he has no career at City, he's still only very young yet. Look at Richards under Hughes, imagine if we'd got shot of him there.

Well he certainly didn't in the first half, he looked calm and assured to me.

It is unreasonable to drop him for someone who has played less than 10mins in the prem in a year i think.

He never will be if you don't give him the chance.

I just think it is very unfair to drop him for a few mistakes.

I agree. What better way to boost his confidence than sticking with him and letting him have another crack at the Dippers in a Semi Final? He's in out team for the moment and we have to show faith in him. Playing Ned is a backward step, he's leaving soon. We need back up centre halves who will have confidence to come in when needed, and dropping him will be counter productive.

even though I really really really don't like the guy, hate what his mum did or the people they associate with and the fact that I never wanted him to wear the blue shirt again.

Mancini, I know this is absolutely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things but I'm happy for you to play Nedum over Savic on wednesday, he can't be anymore of a calamity cock-up artist can he?

Least Ned can play over here to an ok level, Savic isn't ready yet.

Never thought, or wanted, to say that, but hey, I honestly believe that if Savic starts on wednesday we're out and Carroll will get his much needed goal.

Aslong as you are ok with Nedum playing!

haha, just felt it was fair to post it as I've been one of his fiercest critics.
