No, I'm not and that's frankly a ridiculous assertion. It borders on offensive in how stupid the assertion is.

Richards had a bad match. Most every player did. It's not shocking to think that moving him to CB wouldn't improve his performance in the match. It's a good thing I don't believe in judging a player on one match or perhaps I would be enough of a moron to think Richards should be benched after one off-match.
Very true. QPR set them a real test and sometimes you can only play as well as you're allowed to.
Lessons will have been learned from this game and thats valuable.
We won and I don't think we should be too hard on our lads.

And to quote a certain Mr Hansen "we`ll see how good City are, when under pressure"
He even mentioned it on MOTD after the QRP game and even he now realises that we are a half decent team,he did give us some credit.
Play badly and win and that is the sign of a team that can seriously win the PL.
Agreed on all counts. It may not be good for my heart, but playing poorly and winning where a young player gets some valuable experience is a good thing.

And for the record, I could not have been any prouder to see Micah wearing that captain's band. Not a whit. I don't care if he had a poor match. He's been marvelous.

I think we should go for Cahill at Bolton I work with some Bolton fans who go week in week out and they reckon he is the dogs bollocks,he is English young but experienced and would be available in Europe if we qualify. Kompany needs a class act alongside him IMO.

I watched Savic against Wales the other month and he got the run around big time I think he maybe could come good but needs time to mature and play to the standard we are at, Along with Lescott we would then have 3 quality c/b plus Yaya can always play there if needs be.

Next time Vinnie or Lescott are out, we need to put Nedum in.

We all know Kung Fu Kolo's poor but I've also though Savic hasn't looked up to much, especially recently against Wolves and today.

I'm in no way writing Savic off, he has a lot of time to improve and will probably be a good player but we look very shaky with him at the moment.

Nedum has proved many times in the past he can play very well at centre half, so give him a go.

I would suggest there are two very good reasons this won't happen

1 Nedum is not good enough
2 did I mention Nedum is not good enough

Seems everyone forgot how good he was playing for us before we sent him to Sunderland. Was the best player in the second half of the 2008-09 season (which included Ireland, Vinnie, Zab, Robinho, SWP), winning player of the month in March and May and earning himself a new 5 year deal.

He then had an injury the next year and then whenever he came in never put a foot wrong and was man of the match on a few occasions (most notably the Birmingham game).

He went to Sunderland and did well and is a die hard blue!

Anyone who says he isn't good enough is letting the Soccer AM interview (which was blown well out of proportion) and the email saga (which wasn't Ned's fault at all) get in the way of his ability.

I know a lot of people on here wasn't watching us back then but the one's who was should remember he's good enough to be a squad player.

I'm pretty sure I've never agreed with anything you've ever said. Wasn't it you who was saying that AJ should be starting over Silva last season?
I can honestly say I've never said that. I was one of the only one's saying Spanish Dave should start at the start of last season when everyone didn't want him.
