I’m thinking about Netflix for the first time!

The best package for me looks like Basic at £6.99. I live alone and will only watch it on my telly. I presume I’m not missing a trick by using Standard at an extra £4 a month? It’s only £4 but no point paying for something I won’t use.

Thanks!

Still using my mates. Don't know when this crackdown that's supposedly happening will occur but nothings materalised yet. Just wish he'd bloody well upgrade to the UHD package. Haha.

If you don't have anybody that'll give you their login details use a VPN and get a cheaper foreign sub as somebody else suggested.

Netflix have cottoned on to this kind of trick. If the person you've given the login to is watching, you can't. They tell you that someone, somewhere has already activated yer plan!

Entirely depends on the quality of the TV at this point and if your bothered about picture quality.

If you’re mostly watching standard free view then you are likely be fine as it’s a slight improvement on that. If you have sky HD or watch blu-rays etc will be a notch down.

It’s HD vs Full HD for a single device.

Is this for people that haven't already done it? I have my own avatar/profile on his account and not had any issues. As long as you have a plan that allows simultaneous streams how are they stopping it? Restricting it to the same IP address?

They're not. We've the family plan (5 profiles/ devices) and we're regularly using it from different IP addresses.

What's the size of your TV, and what's the max resolution?

You could always try it out at the lower price and if you are fine with the quality then stick with it. Or if you want 1080p try that first.

Could try testing your eyes by watching a youtube video on 720p and 1080p on your TV. You'll be able to know If the difference is worth the upgrade.
