Netflix plans

Is this for people that haven't already done it? I have my own avatar/profile on his account and not had any issues. As long as you have a plan that allows simultaneous streams how are they stopping it? Restricting it to the same IP address?
Oooh, that level of technology is beyond me! It's just that when our BT box goes iffy, I switch to the Netflix app on the NOW box on a different HDMI channel, all at Ewing Towers, and I didn't realise that my ERO had signed in on that app. When he came to watch some of the shite he watches in Norf Landan it sez that somebody is already watching! Makes yer wonder WhoTF is watching!

I’ve been using my mate’s for years and last week when I went to watch it I got the below. I assume it’s off the device you login from and the IP address it’s looking at.

I think it's just scaremongering mate. If you have people with an unrealistic number of profiles (say 10-15) and they're regularly streaming at the same time they might do something.

A lot of households could have 4 or 5 people in them and they're all potentially watching something different so I can only imagine it being something extreme like the example I gave previously.

Personally wouldn't pay for it anyway as think it's overrated, overpriced and lives off it's reputation. I use iPlayer more than Netflix.

I've just Googled it and you can pay extra for somebody else now? Doubt my mates doing that though.

Maybe as I'm on sim card internet it's a bit of a loophole at the moment. Think it's more likely to be the amount of users and profiles on the account though. How many people has your mate shared his details with? Have you tried it on a different device?

I pay £6pm for a Plex server that has all the streaming services content in the highest quality (4k Web-DL) and anything else you can think of.

I can go from watching Thundercats to Street Hawk to The Truman Show in 4K (60Gb disc rip).

r/plexsubs on reddit is the marketplace.

He’s not shared it loads. Three of us have it I think. As occasionally when I’ve gone to log on in the past if the other two have been watching something at the same time, it’s not let me login and it tells me what they’re watching.

Before committing to Netflix have a look at the contents of the other platforms: Disney Plus, Prime, Paramount Plus etc.

I personally think paramount and disney have better content but it comes down to preference.

I phoned to cancel Virgin TV and broad band it had crept up to £160 a month, told them we could get the same package with Sky for £95 and they matched it straight away and got Netflix as well
