Netflix plans

What's the size of your TV, and what's the max resolution?

You could always try it out at the lower price and if you are fine with the quality then stick with it. Or if you want 1080p try that first.

Could try testing your eyes by watching a youtube video on 720p and 1080p on your TV. You'll be able to know If the difference is worth the upgrade.
43 inch size but I don’t know the resolution. It’s a Samsung. Less than a year old.

I want to watch the Dave Fishwick film first and also Sex Education so I can see the new Doctor Who. If it’s not enough content then I’ll delete.

Does any streaming service have every episode of The Simpsons?

Disney plus has 33 seasons. No idea if that’s all.

If you can get the tv type can work out resolution from that. Is it a smart TV? My Samsung 43 inch is 4k which is as high as it goes at the moment ( in the real world )

Netflix is shit.
I cancelled after months of nothing worth watching.
Freeview and catch up is fine for me.

The model number should be on the back. Google that and you'll know.

I'd hazard a guess that's probably UHD.

Disney plus.

I phoned to cancel Virgin TV and broad band it had crept up to £160 a month, told them we could get the same package with Sky for £95 and they matched it straight away and got Netflix as well

£160? Jesus. I pay them exactly £100 less than that for pretty much everything they have to offer as far as I’m aware.

I had the UHD package with a 4K TV. Switched it for the basic package. Nobody noticed. 4K is largely bollocks and always has been. Unless you’re sat a metre from your TV you’ll barely notice.

I share my sisters plan and it’s a pain now, you can register another tv away from her house for two weeks saying your travelling but then it switches off and you can then redo it again the next month apparently we haven’t tried it yet. Thing is Netflix promoted this idea years ago about sharing accounts and now they don’t want it! They make you pay max for 4k as well, I wouldn’t mind if I could pay say £6 for one device with 4k but I’m not paying £15.
Ive got IPTV so will just use that ill have to set my daughter up with one now to watch all her crap.
If you want Netflix I’d suggest just buying one month and binge watch stuff and then let it lapse until enough stuff comes on there certainly isn’t enough on there for a monthly sub.

All these different services annoy me. If I suddenly want to watch The Damned United then I need to subscribe to the one who provides it.

I’ve still a handful of DVDs and I watch them using my PS4!
