Neville Kneville

Sadly Neville Kneville passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning at the age of just 59.

Nev was a massive Blue. Not so much a home and away sort of guy. I think he much preferred going to watch the reserves and the youth team than going to away games. I've known him for over 40 years and over that time we had some memorable times supporting City. Even through the some shite times he used to convince our group we were only ever a couple of players away from the Champions League final.

Nev was a member of this forum since 2008 and made over 36,000 posts and I'm sure his opinions will be missed, even if he did enjoy the odd wind up or spat with fellow members.

As soon as we're back at the matches we'll be in City Sq. raising a pint of warm, flat, dark fruit strongbow in your honour, mate

RIP Nev
Fucking hell!! We had different views on a couple of occasions but never got out of hand and I had wondered why I’d not seen as many posts.
RIP NK....

Terrible news, Nev Knev, was one of my favourite posters on the forum, really knew his football, shared a few pm's over the years together. Going to miss reading his posts, especially in the transfer forum.

Condolence's to his family and friends.

We had a few head to heads over youth players over the years, Garcia being the last one, what a shame to hear this awful news.

RIP Neville Kneville, which like somebody else stated I always have read it as Neville Neville

Was gutted when I heard this, like a lot on these pages, I didn't know him, but felt I did thru' reading his posts and interacting with him on here. Thanks to @Gingers Dad, I've become acquainted with his music, which is right up my particular music street. If you're up for it, it's well worth a listen, search Tony Dowlers Hellhounds on YouTube, if you like a bit of blues and rock, most of the footage is filmed live so is pretty visceral, but bloody hell Tony could play a guitar! RIP Tony Dowler/Neville Kneville.

Damn, had no idea he was a musician but I'm sure we once compared notes on Ted Nugent as well as a few other exchanges on music. Tony could sure play.

He definitely liked Ted Nugent. Was with him at a Ted Nugent gig at the Apollo in about 1980

Sorry to hear this. He was very good on this forum and very knowledgeable about his football Thoughts to his family x

I honestly came on here thinking it was a "where is" thread, genuinely saddened to read of his passing, he was a fantastic poster, extremely knowledgeable and always worth reading what he had to say, always seemed to have a common sense and good logic approach to how he saw things and I'll miss his posts.

R.I.P Nev/Tony and sincere condolences to his family and friends, he was a good egg.
