Neville's assessment of where city are failing

The solution vs City is simply parking defenders in the middle and shutting down Yaya, Silva and Nasri that way. We have completely and utterly failed to use our wingers. That is something i blame Mancini for. Our organization is in flames and we cannot do anything once we fail to move the ball down the middle because our crossing doesn't even exist apart from some rather cheap crosses from Clichy, Johnson, and others.

I hate blaming Mancini but sometimes I wonder if he actually has a Plan B or C for anything? For the love of god we have so many talents and we sometimes cannot even deliver for our attack.

Sadly Neville seems to be the best pundit. I don't think a TV programme gives any secrets away though. If Neville can point these things out I'm sure that highly qualified Premier League scouts can.

That said, we're getting the results at home, so theory is one thing, carrying it out is another. It also doesn't account for a moment of magic, which can come at any time. A defence splitting pass, a wonder goal, a set piece which comes off.

Neville speaks sense, but the general scenario doesn't account for the above. What we have to do is to make this magic happen more often, and make better use of our set plays.

You can call Gary Neville all the names under the sun, I certainly have over the years, but he has been there and done it ON THE PITCH, both for the Rags and England for nearly twenty years.

His experience is almost unparalleled, plus he has worked under the most successful manager ever (in terms of trophies).

Tactically, he is very astute, in fact I think he could go on to be a very successful manager (if he wanted to)

but he's a coward unless he applies his analysis equally and he has been noticeably shy on criticising utd and pinpointing weaknesses

We miss Micah down the right. We look much more of a threat when he's darting down the wing winning us free kicks / passing to Silva

Simple. Full backs have to react faster. Micah is doing well. Rather than linger around the box, they have to start to actually enter the box and attack, not support. Much like what Dani Alves does. And anyone realize that Kolarov always seem 0.5 sec slower to react to a touch? I believe Clichy has the ability to attack the box, and with his natural right foot, it will be an asset.

Was actually thinking about Dani Alves and how vital he is to Barca as I was reading the first page. Richards was doing a bang up job in the beginning of the season and clichy can sometimes, but everyone else is basically shut down out there.

How many games have we seen both the nevilles overlapping in oceans of space to provide a killer cross for the rags to score, especially at the swamp.
We have lacked this all season but it is hurting us now.

Why anyone would approve of ratface is beyond me. He hates city always has done and when he's finished with sky his true colours will come out and will embarrass a lot of blues.
