And Salford, should they ever become relevant.and newcastle to a lesser extent
The Rags are in the shit big time with this, the whole stadium is outdated and needs shitloads spending on it.
That’s why this rule change has come in not even subtleWonder if this will hold up development of the North stand as its now accountable within FFP
You can't honestly believe that UEFA have brought through these changes just to stop City expanding the North Stand? That’s why this rule change has come in not even subtle
yes, I agree, I don't think we've (the club singular) got anything to fear from these changes. It is allowed and it won’t affect us.
Come on lads, these rules are much more watered down than ffp and won’t be an issue.
He does make the point that was a covid season with no match day income.Having read a bit more. Look at the implications for different clubs and ability to pay wages. As per these table. The percentage is key and has to come down to 70%. Arsenal look bad at 93% but then look at the big European clubs...

Doubt that very much when some of UEFA’s favourite pets have stadiums that are literally falling downThat’s why this rule change has come in not even subtle
All the way to the bank with their dividendsGlazer's will be laughing.
Surely this is for new projects only?Everton are committed to spending hundreds of millions on a new stadium and are making huge losses at the same time
And an excuse for zero spend on the old toiletAll the way to the bank with their dividends
I was wondering that myself, didn't we take a 'loan' for £500million for infrastructure improvements a short while back? Was it to circumvent this? I may have well imagined all of this mind.Surely this is for new projects only?
£500k or £500m?I was wondering that myself, didn't we take a 'loan' for £500,000 for infrastructure improvements a short while back? Was it to circumvent this? I may have well imagined all of this mind.
No idea what you're talking about, it clearly says £500million.£500k or £500m?
The former won’t go far

Clubs need to take this into consideration in contracts. And the academy should help us with keeping in line with the "wages" rule.
I'm not that worried about any of this as far as City are concerned, tbh.
The only thing I would say is that some flexibility from UEFA is required on the "wages" thing. It's conceivable a club can plan players and wages to compete in the CL every year, but then miss out for one year. The "wages" ratio would shoot up, FFP failed, sanctions, screwed completely. Becomes a bit like Russian roulette.
