I'm not saying it's wrong. I don't defend it or criticise it, but I was merely answering a question posed by DD that no one gets booed at City anymore.

They DO. I've had to bollock my mate for giving it out and abusing Wayne Bridge. I don't care if you don't like someone but don't single them out for the kind of abuse that Richard Edghill got.....

People are making out like individual players are getting boo'ed whenever they touch the ball, but this is just a post created because some of you can't take the fact that others have been criticising Robinho on here !

Yeah people can get frustrated with players at the game, but there's a difference between that and actually booing a player. I'll admit that I was getting frustrated with Benjani in last weeks derby because he appeared not to be chasing the ball down...this simple action could have helped to alleviate the constant pressure we were under in the last 10 mins or so, but what I didn't do was fucking boo him !!

All I did was shout things like "Getting fucking stuck in", or "Close him down FFS"....What should I have done ?? Clapped and cheered at the fact that he was strolling round the pitch ?

I would never boo the fella or any other City player but then again I do as I have said before question whether Robinho really is a City player. He wears the kits and he's signed the contract but that's not enough for me. I hate hearing players getting booed but on here I think people have the right to say if they're not happy with someone so long as it doesn't decend into petty name calling and unfair criticism. I have yet to warm to Robinho although I was as excited as anyone when we signed him (I think more because it showed that we were now potentially eating at the top tables and not bottom feeding).

However I've never been convinced that he loves City and loves playing for us. I see glimpses of footballing skills and long periods of frustratingly poor play by the fella. I was rooting for him yesterday and I'm glad he put in a reasonable performance. Nothing special but reasonable. If I don't believe a player is wearing the shirt with pride then I will critisize them and I think every City fan has the right to do so. Just don't boo that's all.

So who's the next "boo boy"? (By that I mean person who gets critisized on here)

Anyone who consistantly looks like a passenger in games, doesn't seem committed to City, doesn't wear their shirt with pride, etc, etc

Cheered him and supported him to improve his performance?

I think Adebayor is the best candidate, he's foreign, perceived as lazy and likes to talk to the media.
